Bob has opened my eyes to a new world of amazing. Little cities are inside every electronic I own! I have a new and probably unhealthy fascination with these computer board things:

I gave my old Ipod Mini to Bobby (more on this @ http://bobbermani.com/blog/) on the condition that if he could get it to work he could have it. I remember when I first got that ipod (my first) and how happy it made me. It makes me feel good to now that someone else will be getting use out of it. Anyways, the problem with it was a common one for older ipods; the battery is completely shot and won't hold charge. Apple will fix this little problem for you if you send them in some $$$. But why would you do that when you could just rip the thing open yourself?! After feeling the smooth aluminum in my hands I handed it over to Bob and eagerly watched him gently pry it open. Inside was one of the most amazing thinsg ever. I had seen computer boards and such before but this one was special. It was so tiny and immediately reminded me of what the ground looks like when you look out an airplane window. He let me stare and study it for a few minutes (he didnt even get annoyed at my wonder, even though he sees this stuff all the time). I felt like I had just discovered a new island or a teasure map. Something about this whole experience struck a chord in me. Anyways, to commemorate this experience I have made the town of IpodMini. Click below to make it bigger. And think I'm nuts if you want. I know someone who doesnt.
