Tonight I was almost decapitated by laundry detergent.
It was in the top section of my closet and when I shut the door it fell out and almost clocked me in the head. Of course, it isnt one of those small little jugs of suds. No, its one of the big ones. After I had time to analyze the situation and clean all the mess off the floor, I realized that there was still a ton of detergent in the jug. This is when my Starnes sense kicked in. (Starnes being my mother side of the family, known for resourcefulness and an almost uncanny need to not spend money.)
There was ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that I was going to just throw it away.
i was not shelling out another five dollars!
I AM NOT MADE OF MONEY.
so, in a move that would make my mom proud, I gathered up all of the empty waterbottles and put the blue goodness into them, by using A ZIPLOCK BAG as a funnel.why am I even in college? I already rule at life.
I definately suggest putting your laundry detergent in waterbottles.
why?
it is so much easier to take to the laundry. gone are the days of struggling with that overfull basket of clothes as well as the huge jug of liquid.however, I don't advise using a plastc bag as a funnel, or almost giving yourself a serious head injury.
and, as my roomate told me (because I need to hear it) "be sure not to drink it."
